About Us

The future looks radically different than the past.

According to the World Economic Forum, creativity will become one of the top three skills workers will need. With the avalanche of new products, new technologies and new ways of working, workers are going to have to become more creative in order to benefit from these changes. The precursor to creativity is curiosity.

Get Curious Now is run by a team of Get Curious Now certified coaches who want to help you manifest your curiosity into creativity.

It was founded by Candice Faktor, someone who is insatiably curious and passionate. After a 17 year high powered career in the innovation and tech world, she decided to stop the treadmill for a moment so she could get curious again and find her passion. She did - it was mindset education and exponential technologies.

By day she runs Faktory Ventures, a seed stage fund focusing on exponential tech and the game changers who are building the future.

Candice finds tremendous joy in helping people of all ages develop the mindset necessary to succeed in an unpredictable future. She encourages people to listen to their hearts and their minds. She believes that anyone, if they want to, can manifest their curiosity into creativity. She hopes to live in a world where we use our attention to create the world we want rather than consume a world we don’t.

Candice was the GM at Wattpad, where she helped scale Wattpad to be one of the world’s largest storytelling platforms with over 50MM users where she learned all about the importance of self expression and creativity. Previous to this, Candice co-created Torstar Digital, a disruptive digital venture arm of Torstar, where she invested in, launched and scaled over 20+ mobile, social and digital businesses over 7 years where she learned all about disruptive innovation and creation. Before Torstar Digital, Candice worked for Monitor Group, a boutique strategy consulting firm where she learned how to think rationally and work effectively. Candice is a mom of two creative boys and is married to a filmmaker.

Teaching kids how to nourish their creativity and curiosity, while still providing a sound foundation in critical thinking, literacy and math, is the best way to prepare them for a future of increasingly rapid technological change.
