Program Overview

GetCuriousNow is an 8 week program that helps anyone find the joy in creativity and curiosity. The joy and sense of self we get when we follow our heart is universal and often denied. The program helps people manifest a curiosity and passion of theirs into a reality. Focused on the philosophy of incrementalism, small steps can lead to massive outcomes and GetCuriousNow helps people find and explore this sense of self and joy when we listen to our hearts.

DISCOVERY

Often deep down in our hearts are things we are curious about. We have passions that may seem silly or trivial or they have been with us forever. This step allows us to unlock all the ideas, things, and subjects we are interested in and want to do something or learn something about. This does not need to be your lifelong dream, it just needs to be something you are interested in. When we explore what we are interested in, we listen to our soul and our hearts. Work, doesn’t feel like work and we find joy in the exploration.

RESEARCH

Now is the time to get really curious. Why are we curious about something? What is it we are really interested in? What do we want to learn and know about something? In this phase, we figure out who is an expert in this area. We find great resources that can answer so many questions we may have. We figure out how to ask great questions. We learn to listen. We aren’t afraid to look like we don’t know. We aren’t afraid to ask people who do know. We take risks, we use courage to explore and learn from others. We integrate our thinking from different sources.

GOAL SETTING

In this phase, we decide we want to do something about it. No mattter how big or how small, we want to make a dent in the universe about something we are passionate about. It could be as simple as creating a series of interviews with thought leaders in this area and publishing them. It could be starting a small business. It could be a movement that enlists others in your cause. Whatever it is, it will only happen if you set a goal. You commit to the goal. You break down the goal. And you put in place habits to reach that goal. This is what makes people achieve their goals vs. leave them as dreams or ideas.
